Rodney Swanepoel, Sales Manager, Botany

The Automotive Industry has been a part of my life from a very young age, having grown up in a family that either owned dealerships, worked for one or were motor mechanics. When I was younger, I did repairs and maintenance on pretty much anything. I have been in sales for around 27 years! Working with people and helping them on their journey towards owning a new vehicle, whether it be their first or one of many for their fleet, is what makes sales one of the most satisfying feelings I believe. Seeing a smiling face as they drive out in their new car is what makes sales great.

Golf is another one of my passions, having taken up the game around 7 years ago. My home away from home is the Pakuranga golf course, most times you will find me there practicing or volunteering help with up-keep of the club grounds and facilities. In a short time, I have won multiple club championships and competitions and now sport a growing trophy cabinet. I also represent my club Pennants team. At my club, I have held positions on a few committees and am currently the Men’s Club Captain.
