George Edwards, Product Technology Specialist/Sales Consultant, Manukau
I grew up in a small town in Taranaki till the age of 15 when I made a move to Auckland to pursue a rugby career. Due to multiple injuries, I decided to take a sensible path by hanging my boots up and focusing on another career which is where South Auckland Motors comes into my life. I started from the grooming department and worked my way through the parts department, then the service department and now I’m in sales, where I can take my journey to the next level.
My dad was a car enthusiast and his dad (my grandad) was a Mechanical Engineer, so my family in general loved their cars which sparked my interest in cars, at a young age. When I'm not working out at a gym, playing touch rugby, wakeboarding or catching up with friends, knowing the ins and outs about our vehicles here at South Auckland Motors is my passion and I am here to learn and help anyway that I can!
